About the Role
Summary The Heavy Equipment Mechanic (HEM) is responsible for the inspection, service, repair and preventative
maintenance of the various types of company owned equipment. Using both company and industry standards, this role
ensures all equipment is safe and road ready. This position involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic and
electrical systems, hydraulic steering systems, multi‐axle alignments, chassis electrical, and air brake systems. The
position also requires intermediate welding and fabrication work as needed. Education and Experience A degree/diploma
from an accredited Heavy Equipment and/or Diesel Technician program. Or 5+ years of equivalent experience working with
