Groundskeeper
About the Role
The groundskeeper is responsible the maintenance of grounds of industrial, commercial and/or public property. This
position is subject to inclement weather conditions and is physically demanding.Responsibilities and duties:Provide
grounds maintenance as required by contract termsPerform grass cutting services using walking or riding mowers (of less
than 2000 lbs)Trim hedges and edges around walkways, flowerbeds, and wells using hedge trimmers, clippers and edging
toolsRemove debris and litter to optimize cleanliness of groundsPrune shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth using
shears and other handheld toolsSpray lawn, shrubs and trees with fertilizer and insecticide as neededPlace mulch, pine
