About the Role

Groundskeeper Hendrix College invites applications for the position of Groundskeeper, a full-time, 12-month position.

Reporting to the Grounds Supervisor, the Groundskeeper performs general grounds maintenance labor, mows grass,

landscapes grounds, operates grounds maintenance equipment, works under the direct supervision of the higher level

supervisory employees. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Plants, transplants, fertilizes, waters, prunes, and cares for

flowers, shrubs, and trees. Mow, waters, fertilizes and cares for lawns. Sows seed and lays sod. May operate and/or

receive on the job training in the operation of various grounds maintenance equipment as directed. Removes snow and ice
