About the Role
This position is being filled through OU's PEAK Temporary Staffing Service. The position will have a chance to become
permanent for the right person. The pay will increase to $16.15/hr once permanent. Responsible for journeyman level
carpentry work. Under general supervision, constructs, installs, and repairs wooden, architectural, and structural
elements and furnishings. Reads and interprets simple blueprints. May establish the specifications of each job based on
blueprints, drawings, and diagrams. Determines the tools and materials required for each job. Measures and marks
dimensions before cutting material to ensure a proper fit. Constructs, repairs, installs and inspects wooden,
