Job Description Job Description FULL TIME COOK JOB OBJECTIVE Under the supervision of the Food Service Management Team,
assists in preparing, seasoning, and cooking a wide variety of meats, vegetables, soups, breakfast dishes, and other
food items in large quantities. Assists in supporting other employees performing the same or related work. JOB
STANDARDS: The Cook must have: High school education or equivalent; educational courses in food management and
production. Comprehensive knowledge of cooking for large groups. Two years minimum institutional cooking experience or
equivalent specialized training, and knowledge of meat cutting. Excellent Resident/Customer service skills. A
