About the Role
AZZ has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for a forklift operator at our Blacksburg facility. Reporting to the
Operations Manager you will help move and load our steel products safely and on time, while maintaining great customer
relationships. Loading building materials and components using standard and heavy-duty forklifts particularly Hyster
models. Assure all parts are accounted for and properly marked and staged for loading. Load all material onto flatbed
trailers. Inspect all material for damage prior to loading on trailers. Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
Responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness of the loading area. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
