About the Role
SUMMARY Under general supervision of the Public Works Supervisor, performs maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on City
fleet vehicles and motorized equipment, including departmental vehicles, landscaping equipment, construction equipment,
and other specialized equipment. Performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled repair tasks. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
None ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Performs routine preventative maintenance, including air filters, oil changes, tires,
batteries, and scheduling state vehicle inspections. Performs routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including
backhoes, tractors, mowers, loaders, and similar equipment. Performs maintenance and repairs on small engines and
