About the Role
Job Posting Under general supervision, this position performs the duties of a Field Maintenance Worker I as well as
additional duties based on training and experience. Operates heavy equipment for the removal of debris; moving dirt,
sand, soil, and for digging large holes. Operates small equipment in the maintenance of parks and the upkeep of ball
fields. Assists in city events including high profile events with large numbers of citizens, tourists, and visitors.
Reports to the Recreation Field Superintendent. Essential Functions Inspects parks and ball fields for safety, wear, and
damage. Helps in the planning and preparation of all special events held by the City of Foley including high profile
