Facility Maintenance Technician Lead
About the Role
Summary Under general supervision, this position provides overall maintenance support for complex facilities with
offices, laboratories, computers, warehouses, and other special-purpose spaces. Work assignments are given in terms of
program areas of responsibility. The incumbent performs preventive maintenance and general repairs on building operating
systems (e.g., Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC); electrical; plumbing; other mechanical; and lighting).
Incumbent also performs general carpentry and repair of facility structures. The Incumbent also receives non-supervisory
guidance from the site-designated Government Point of Contact. Performance is evaluated in terms of effectiveness in
