Facilities Construction Mechanic

About the Role

Overview The role of Construction Mechanic is that of a diversely skilled laborer. The successful candidate would have

experience with concrete and masonry work, landscaping, fence repair, asphalt repair, work with catch basins and

manholes, use of construction equipment, and deicing and snow removal. Additionally, trained Construction Mechanics

operate EB's water treatment plant and central waste facility. Concrete and masonry work includes minor to moderate

repairs. Landscaping work consists primarily of brush and weed clearing. Current construction and snow removal equipment

including tractors, skid steers, gravely push brooms, snow blowers and sweepers. Asphalt and catch basin work includes
