Fabrication/welder Cut Man
About the Role
Advanced Welder Performs advanced welding operations using a variety of equipment in work that requires substantial
experience. Evaluates material type and thickness and adjusts heat settings as needed. Positions metal parts on fixtures
and secures them with jigs, clamps, or other devices to maintain proper alignment during welding. Lead lesser skilled
welders. High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program or technical school
preferred but not required. 35+ years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to
weld a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Strong understanding of welding
