Evening Dispatcher Trucking/transport

About the Role

Job Title Essential Duties and Responsibilities Schedule and dispatch drivers, trucks, and equipment to meet delivery

and pickup requirements. Monitor driver routes and provide real-time support to ensure on-time service. Communicate with

drivers regarding assignments, route changes, delays, and customer needs. Track vehicle locations and shipment status

using transportation management systems and GPS technology. Coordinate load assignments to maximize fleet utilization

and operational efficiency. Maintain accurate records of driver logs, trip reports, fuel usage, and transportation

documentation. Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Hours of Service (HOS)
