About the Role

The district has an anticipated vacancy for a dispatcher. DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS: This is a competitive

Civil Service position which requires the applicant to be on a current Civil Service List for School Bus Dispatcher, or

be able to complete the required examination. Position provides assistance and support to the Transportation Supervisor.

The work is performed under the general supervision of the Transportation Supervisor. In addition, related work shall be

assigned as required by the Transportation Supervisor or Central Office Administration. Reports to: School Business

Administrator/Transportation Supervisor Description: Establishes and reviews bus routes, trains new drivers, dispatches
