About the Role

Position Summary The Emergency Dispatcher position is responsible for receiving 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls and

dispatching law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services. Dispatchers serve as the communication hub between

the public and first responders, ensuring resources are deployed quickly and information is clearly shared. Successful

candidates must demonstrate outstanding spoken communication, active listening, and the ability to prioritize multiple

tasks in a high-demand, often unpredictable environment. Minimum Qualifications Must be 21 years of age High school

diploma or equivalent required Must possess exceptional moral character and judgment Must not have felony, domestic
