About the Role
Emergency Dispatcher Department: Sheriff Reports to: Dispatch Supervisor Grade/Wage: Grade 6 / $23.54 to $33.23 per hour
FLSA Status/Hours: Non-Exempt, 40 Hours per week Summary A 911 Emergency Dispatcher is a critical link between the
public and emergency services. This position is responsible for receiving and prioritizing emergency and non-emergency
calls, dispatching appropriate emergency personnel (police, fire, EMS), and providing life-saving instructions while
maintaining a calm, professional demeanor under pressure. Dispatchers ensure effective coordination and communication to
