About the Role

Position Overview The Department of Facilities & Operations is responsible for the maintenance and operations of the

physical aspects of Rhode Island College’s multi‑building campus, including contractor administration and the Central

Falls Hub. Responsibilities Install, inspect, maintain, alter, and repair electrical lines, equipment, and apparatus;

and perform related work as required. Install, inspect, and repair electric wires and cables (including high‑voltage),

power appliances, machinery, overhead circuits, underground conduits, and pole lines. Install, inspect, and repair

special medical equipment such as X‑ray and physiotherapy units. Install, inspect, regulate, and repair electrical
