About the Role
Marine Electricians Marine Electricians are responsible for the installation, test and repair or marine cables and
equipment, installation and connection of lighting, electrical power, troubleshooting and repair of shipboard and
facilities electrical systems. They use and maintain hand and power tools, various test equipment. Plan layout and
installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. Connect wires to
circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical
wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes to ensure
