Dispatcher/transportation Assistant

About the Role

Dispatcher/Transportation Assistant Assists Terminal Manager in daily dispatch duties- including planning trucks both

inbound and outbound, scheduling delivery appointments where applicable, assisting in assigning carrier loads, assisting

in troubleshooting any driver/carrier issues that may come up. Perform administrative functions to include but not

limited to, insuring proper paperwork flow, scanning documents, collecting trip envelopes, coordinating shipping

documents, ordering of supplies and entering purchase orders. Assist/coordinate in scheduling DOT exams including

physicals and drug screens. Serve as a backup to the Terminal Manager for the Brookhaven plant as well as the Irvington
