Dispatcher Temporary $23.55 Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Dispatcher receives incoming calls requesting Police, Fire, and EMS assistance through a
variety of communication equipment and dispatches the appropriate emergency unit. The position utilizes computer aided
dispatch software to initiate and track calls for service and record officer activity. The Dispatcher coordinates
communications during police field activity and relays information to appropriate department officials or other
agencies. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: Responds accordingly to requests for Police, Fire and other emergency services
