Diesel Mechanic

About the Role

GENERAL PURPOSE Performs skilled mechanical work in the inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of diesel-powered

vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of fleet equipment. With regular

attendance, this position conducts preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while adhering to safety

standards and specifications. SUPERVISION EXERCISED None ESSENTIAL DUTIES Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy

trucks and equipment to minimize vehicle downtime and to provide for safe operation. Complete preventative maintenance
