Diesel Mechanic
About the Role
THE JOB Tidewater Environmental Services, Inc. is hiring a Diesel Mechanic II to diagnose and perform preventative and
corrective mechanical maintenance and repair on all equipment, including diesel trucks, Vac‐Con trucks, drop boxes and
high‐pressure/high‐volume wash pumps. Inspects air brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, etc. to ensure
they are in proper operating condition. Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs electrical, hydraulic and compressed air
systems. Performs welding and/or fabrication repairs as needed on equipment. Performs routine preventative maintenance
such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery. Identifies warrantable repairs and
