About the Role
*Position Summary*
The Cropping Mechanic position is a key role in the function of Jasper Hill’s cropping effort. This position is based
out of our shop and Hay Drying facility in East Craftsbury and involves equipment service in the field. This position is
part of the Cropping Team and the cropping mechanic plays a role working with the field team to make hay while the sun
shines. Haying in Vermont is fast paced work when the weather is favorable with time to rest and recover when the rain
comes. As such schedules are determined by weather windows during the summer and are much more flexible on the shoulder
