Crane Operator

About the Role

Crane Operator Position Summary: Feed mill with logs from wood yard as designated by a wood storage and use schedule.

Unloads incoming log trucks into wood storage. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Operates Portal Crane and other

mobile equipment and performs routine maintenance on equipment. Completes mobile equipment operator's report daily.

Notifies Maintenance Department and/or shift supervisor of operating deficiencies noted during inspections and/or

operations. Unloads log trucks and places into wood storage inventory as directed by scalers. Builds stacks that are

uniform and neat. Keep stray logs picked up and clear of both sets of rails. Removes logs from wood storage and places
