About the Role

Job Summary: To provide alcohol/drug counseling assessments for clients referred from the RI DMV, Operator Control

Division. This service is offered as part of the Driver Improvement Program under the college's Division of Workforce

Partnerships, Transportation Education. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Meet with assigned clients and assess

each utilizing the approved standardized assessment. Refer clients to treatment on an as needed basis and according to

the results of the approved standardized assessment. When making referrals to treatment, work with clients to select a

substance abuse treatment agency that is licensed by RIBHDDH. Engage in high-quality assessment in a diverse, inclusive
