About the Role
General Cleaner A General Cleaner performs a variety of janitorial and custodial duties which are related to the general
appearance and cleanliness of the interior/exterior of the facility/building. Primary responsibilities include: Floor
maintenance – sweep floors, hallways, corridors, and stairways, and mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor surfaces.
Restroom maintenance – washes, cleans, disinfects, deodorizes, and maintains restrooms in a clean orderly and sanitary
condition. Replaces toilet tissue, towel, soap, and deodorizer, as required. Operate industrial type equipment i.e. a
vacuum cleaners to clean carpet, mats, runners, using chemical and cleaning solutions as required. Wash windows, walls
