About the Role

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining a

variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This role requires a strong understanding of

machining processes, blueprints, and quality control standards. Technical Job Read and interpret work orders,

blueprints, and specifications to determine machine setup, type of material or part, quantity, and finish dimensions

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the program language to identify possible errors and edit as required to improve

finish requirements Create and modify programs directed by Engineering or Management for program development purposes
