About the Role
Job Description The Machinist performs routine assignment planning, layout, set-up, operating and making tooling
adjustments for various types of manuals, CNC and numerically controlled shop equipment. Machinists work from
blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal
to precision dimensions. Machinists may communicate directly with Engineers to understand the purpose of a part
assembly. Machinists inspect machining operations against specified tolerances and identify and repair minor machine
