About the Role

Job Summary Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent At least one of the following: (a) Certificate of

completion of a certified auto mechanic's apprenticeship (b) Minimum of eight years' experience as an auto or truck

mechanic (c) Six years' experience asa mechanic helper in a school bus shop Valid Commercial Driver's License and be

insurable for vehicle operation Possess or obtain a minimum of a Class B COL with "P" (Passenger) and "S" (School Bus)

endorsements within the first six months after employment Become certified with the State Department of Education as a

mechanic in the area of general bus maintenance within six months after employment Need to have an updated physical on
