Bus Driver

About the Role

divh2Bus Driver/h2pOperates bus on designated route and schedule, transporting only authorized students. Performs daily

pre-trip inspection on assigned bus. Maintains proper student discipline according to district policies and department

procedures. Keeps assigned bus clean and fueled. Completes pre-trip logs, mileage, maintenance, accident and discipline

reports as required and/or requested. The district provides training to obtain necessary licensure./ppPre-trip vehicle

inspection: lifting hood, climbing and reaching to inspect engine area, bending and squatting to inspect tires, walking

up and down bus aisle to check seats and exits. Will require some periods of exposure to elements. Continued braking,
