About the Role

Position Summary Columbia Dining Services is a dynamic, progressive department in an exciting, fun environment with a

customer‐focused culture. We have an immediate opening for a Porter. Porters clean and maintain different areas of the

Dining Halls, including but not limited to kitchens, dining rooms, dish rooms, and basements. Responsibilities Wash

dishes, pots, and pans. Shampoo rugs. Clean and wash floors and walls. Use equipment such as dish washing machines, rug

shampoo machines, and pot washing machines. Assist other employees in the performance of their jobs, as directed by

responsible supervisors, using the necessary equipment. Observe safety standards and practices. Perform related duties
