About the Role
Full time Shift: Rotating Shift A boiler Operator is in charge of shift operation of the Boiler House to maintain
continuous steam supply to the Hospital for heat, hot water, sterilization and related uses. Boiler House procedures and
related boiler codes provided in the Boiler House Procedure Manual must be adhered to at all times. Quality of Life:
Where career opportunities and quality of life converge. Work/Life: Positions and shifts to accommodate all schedules.
Starts and stops boilers and adjusts controls to maintain required steam supply. Monitors boiler firing rate, flame
conditions, water level, flue temperature and fuel supply. Follows Boiler House Procedure Manual in checking safety
