About the Role

The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade. A starting salary may be

negotiated and will be commensurate with education, training and experience in alignment with pay administration

policies and Montgomery Personnel Board Rules & Regulations. Nature of Work This is skilled mechanical work at the

journeyman level in the maintenance and repair of diesel engines and heavy equipment. Incumbents must have a high degree

of technical ability as it relates to engine repairs and major assembly rebuilding. Repairing diesel engines Replacing

and installing Allison, New World and Rockwell transmissions Repairing cooling and air conditioning systems Repairing
