About the Role

Assistant Mechanic/Bus Driver Assist in maintaining all district buses and other vehicles in good operating condition to

ensure the safe transport of students and employees of the district. Qualifications of Position: Possess a current valid

Oregon class "B" driver'slicense issued by the Oregon Department of Motor Vehicles, including air brake, passenger, and

"S" endorsements (Not required at time of hire, paid training provided for all necessary bus driver qualifications) Must

be able to attain a Department of School Bus Driver's Certificate Must demonstrate proficiency in the operation of all

types of shop tools and test equipment associated with the maintenance and repair of diesel and gasoline-powered trucks
