About the Role

Summary: Assembles structural sections of aircraft using parts, subassemblies, and components and/or installs functional

units, parts or equipment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assembles structural sections of aircraft using

fabricated parts, subassemblies, and components by safely using hand tools and power tools in accordance with blueprints

and specifications.Drill holes into structure and subassemblies and attaches brackets, hinges, or clips.Cuts, trims, and

files parts to the proper fit.Locates and identifies reference points and holes for installation of parts using jigs,

templates, and measuring instruments.Ensures parts are aligned to acceptable tolerances.Inspects and tests installed
