About the Role

The Alaska Manufacturing Extension Partnership seeks a Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair heavy construction and

maintenance equipment for state highways and rural airports. This role demands diagnosing and maintaining various heavy

vehicles, requiring a CDL and ARFF training. Ideal candidates will demonstrate knowledge of electronic and mechanical

systems, strong self-management skills, and adaptiveness to changing conditions. Steel-toed boots are mandatory. The
