Aircraft Mechanic i Survival

About the Role

Essential Responsibilities Inspects, evaluates, and repairs survival equipment for assigned aircraft and support

equipment. Use approved material to upholster, repair or replace aircraft furnishings, headliners, interior side panels,

and bulkheads. Install carpeting, floor coverings and vinyl on SAM aircraft. Repair, manufacture, repack and sew fabric,

canvas, leather, rubber, and other synthetic material IAW tech data. Modify, designs and fabricate any canvas, leather,

rubber, or synthetic fabric items in support of aircraft maintenance including but not limited to interior furnishings

and floor coverings. Operates all associated ground support equipment. Maintains oxygen masks, hand tools, power tools,
